After a launch at the Hôtel de Crillon in December 2021, the new "Users Group" launched by The Nova Group held its first session of the year 2022 at the Shangri-La.
In addition to networking and regular exchanges, conferences will be held during the event to share the latest market trends and new developments in software and applications.
In collaboration with HCL Software, the two themes of the evening were customer experience and security.
Here is a brief summary of what was presented during the evening.
A focus on The Nova Group and HCL Software
Christophe Lecquyer (CEO) first of all recalled some figures concerning the Nova Group, which has been supporting its customers for more than 10 years around the areas of expertise of collaboration, mobility, security and BI, with a turnover of 14 million euros and almost 50 employees.
Charles Cabouret (Director HCL Software France) did the same by presenting HCL Software and HCL Technologies:
- Over 10 billion in turnover
- 189,000 employees
- More than 20,000 customers

The employee experience and the customer experience
Marine Bonduelle (Sales Specialist Manager) and Mo Zouine (Regional Sales Director) then presented the new features of the Digital Solutions offer, in particular the Volt MX product.
Volt MX is a low-code application development platform. It enables developers, digital designers and IT architects to quickly create business applications.
"The Digital Solution offering is a portfolio of solutions to improve the employee experience both internally and externally with partners.
This is the core of the collaboration between HCL and The Nova Group."
Chançard Moise Kanga (Area Sales Director Specialist) and Herbert Hilhorst (EMEA Technical Advisor) then focused on the employee and customer experience and how the various HCL products will enhance these experiences in a comprehensive way.
Improving IT security
To conclude, Jean-Benoit Nonque recalled the new IT security challenges, particularly on endpoints, and how the BigFix solution makes it possible to keep control of all terminals.
Cybercrime, Zero Trust, Shadow IT, Jean-Benoît evoked the main risks and put in parallel the various possible solutions.
"You can't block employees from using their digital devices. You have to find the right cursor between risk management and user experience."
